The Birth of Sorrow – Thoughts of Human Suffering

 

And they named him ‘Sorrow’,

              for he cried.

And his tears flowed like a river,

              for they weren’t his, but the tears of a million generations,

and every tear he shed

              represented one human suffering.

He never stopped crying until he died,

              and then the world shed a tear.
